Why practice Dharma?
To transform our karma and habitual tendencies.
We are changing our qualities,
So our body and mind can transcend attachments and afflictions.
Then, our habits and lifestyle are also changed.
Does it mean Dharma practitioners don’t have a life?
They sure do.
But they live with clarity devoid of confusions.
In the serenity of spirituality. Live a comprehensive life.
Instead of clinging on to afflictions and piling up stains,
Creating much confusions
Caught in karmic entanglement in future lives,
And causing pain on others.
Bring our mind back, tame ourselves,
So we can benefit others.
If we can’t conduct ourselves but stay bounded by habitual tendencies,
If we can’t conduct ourselves but stay bounded by habitual tendencies,
Allow our genuine mind to abide, virtues to sustain.
This is the purpose of our Dharma practice.
